How to read our buying guides

ApniList publishes researched product comparisons for Indian shoppers. A recommendation is an editorial judgement, not a guarantee that a product will suit every buyer.

Research is different from hands-on testing

Unless a guide explicitly describes our own test method and results, treat it as a researched buying assessment. Product specifications, retailer listings and third-party reviews can inform an assessment; they do not establish that we have personally tested the product. AI assistance may be used to organise information and draft text.

Understand the ranking

Compare the exact model, your intended use, important limitations and the listed price. The published order reflects the guide at the time it was written. It is not a universal score or a live price ranking. A cheaper alternative may suit you better. Specifications alone cannot establish real-world battery life, noise, durability or performance.

Prices and availability

Prices are snapshots, not live offers. A checked date records when a listing was consulted. Delivery charges, seller, location, stock and discounts can change the final amount. Confirm the exact model and checkout total with the retailer. Price-history charts show available recorded observations, not every price a retailer has ever charged. We do not guarantee a collection frequency or future price drops.

Sources and uncertainty

Use linked source material where available to check a claim. Missing or conflicting information should be treated as uncertain. A specification-based advantage is not a measured test result; a third-party opinion is not a customer consensus. Older guides can contain outdated prices and product choices.

Affiliate links and advertising

Some retailer links may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. A retailer search link opens search results rather than guaranteeing the exact offer. Advertising, when available, is labelled separately from editorial content.

Corrections

If you find an incorrect model, price, specification or statement, contact us with the page URL, the product name and supporting evidence so it can be reviewed. Do not rely on an older guide instead of the manufacturer’s current safety instructions.
